Houston, Texas, April, 2010 – AMCAD announced today that Harris County has awarded a contract to American Cadastre, LLC (dba AMCAD) for AMCAD’s integrated Case Management System (AiCMS).  AMCAD was selected over eight other vendors by the Harris County Clerk of the Civil and Probate Courts to implement the Case Management System.  Harris County, Texas is the 3rd largest population county in the United States.

AMCAD’s AiCMS system will automate the entire Civil and Probate Court operation, including case and financial management, scheduling and document management.  AiCMS also improves staff productivity and streamlines office workflow by sharing information throughout the Clerk’s operation.  The AiCMS system utilizes the latest Microsoft .NET technology, three-tier Service Oriented Architecture, providing the County the ability to protect their investment in technology.  The solution will provide the County with the ability to provide remote access for the public to view case and calendar information.  Additionally, AiCMS will provide access to documents electronically, removing the need to transfer paper between locations.  This unique integration, provided only by AMCAD, saves thousands of manual work hours per year.  The Harris County AMCAD project will be implemented in the Civil and Probate Court over the next 15 months.
