Long term secure storage of vital documents and media is a core offering of AmCad. Centered in AmCad’s 50,000 square foot secured facility located on the Rock Island Army Arsenal in Rock Island, IL, we offer unequalled security, environmental control, and inventory control of customer data. - AmCad maintains more than 100,000 cubic feet of NFPA 232-compliant storage in five independently sealed vaults. One vault is rated at 2/120 (able to withstand an external fire for two hours with an internal temperature under 120 degrees) and four 4/120 vaults (able to withstand an external fire for four hours with an internal temperature under 120 degrees)
- Each vault is independently protected by an FM 200 clean agent fire suppression system and individual heating/cooling system designed to maintain a temperature of 67 degrees and a relative humidity of 35%, optimal for the long term storage and preservation of both paper and microfilm media.
- Each item contained in storage is bar-coded and catalogued in our automated Core IMS inventory management system.
