AmCad’s eCommerce solution is an existing module within our AiCMS product. Providing an eCommerce solution through AmCad offers a risk-free partnership for any public records agency. AmCad provides a seamless integrated solution at no cost. An integrated solution provided by a single vendor reduces the risk for error, fraud, and finger-pointing, and enhances customer service through a single, seamless interface.

AmCad is not owned by a data warehouse company. Our mission is to provide state-of-the-art solutions for our government customers. Our goal is providing solutions that best enhance your ability to service your customers and constituents. We never package or resell your data. By our contract, your data and your constituents' data is kept to the highest standards of security and confidentiality. It is processed only for transaction purposes. This ensures the confidentiality of your customer’s data and ensures a secure, efficient transaction.

AmCad will provide a hosted service for all credit card transactions through our system. This includes, but is not limited to, public access payments for fines and fees via the web and/or onsite transactions. The transactions go through a developed eCommerce web service which uses a configurable set of criteria to determine if the credit card information is valid or invalid. If valid, the transaction proceeds to the Merchant Provider partnered with AmCad (currently Authorize.Net). The Merchant Provider approves the transaction and authorizes the bank related to our service (Bank of America currently) to disperse the funds to the locality's bank. Normally, the funds are sent in a burst transaction at close of business. The payments will be automatically deposited into the locality's bank account, usually within 24 to 48 hours. All transactions are logged, and a configurable e-mail message can be sent to the customer so that they have tracking information for their payment. Additional features of AmCad's eCommerce solution include the following:

• Accept a Variety of Payments – AmCad eCommerce module accepts all major credit cards and debit cards.
• Merchant Interface – Use our full-featured E-Commerce Interface to monitor and control payments through the AiCMS public access web site. The Merchant Interface is a secure Web site that allows merchants to manage transactions, configure their account settings, view account statements, generate standard reports and more.
• Manage Your Transactions - Submit, review, or void your transactions online. Manually enter payments or issue refunds with the built-in Virtual Terminal, or submit multiple transactions in a single file using the Batch Upload feature. Generate and download reports on settled, declined, and returned transactions;
• Configure Your Account - Configure the way transactions are handled, including security settings and transaction responses. You can also sign up for value-adding services and important announcements.
• Review Account Activity - Search your transaction history based on date, credit card number, customer name, and other fields. Reconcile payment and billing activity using online reports and statements. You can also view your Authorize.Net billing statement and payment history. Utilize an AiCMS Report to view all transactions for a day, or other time period.
• Prevent Fraud – Identify suspicious transactions with our value-adding products and built-in fraud tools including an address verification service and a card code verification service.
• Risk Management – Sensitive data is stored in the eCommerce database in an encrypted format and all credit card payments through our Merchant account are stored in PCI-compliant data center, never on your computer. All e-commerce data is maintained in the AmCad data center in Herndon, Virginia.
• Receive Payments Quickly – Credit card funds are automatically deposited into the localities bank account within 24 to 48 hours.
• All Transactions Guaranteed – AmCad guarantees all credit card transactions that have been authorized using our eCommerce system. If a transaction is subsequently declined by the credit card company, the locality will still receive the funds for the transaction.
• Free Help – AmCad’s merchant Authorize.Net provides live technical and account support to merchants seven days a week, as well as access to online documentation and user guides.

Fraud Protection – AmCad recognizes that fraud may well be the biggest challenge facing our customers—which is why helping customers protect themselves from fraud is one of our highest priorities.
